Artichoke Soup
This soup really tickles the tastebuds, and stimulates the appetite. The delicious taste of artichokes without all the work! Canned artichoke hearts work best, make sure they are not marinated.

(serves 6)

Cook:
1 bunch green onions
4 garlic cloves, crushed
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp all purpose flour
465 ml chicken broth
420 g artichoke hearts w/ juice cut into small pieces)

Add:
s&p to taste
dried thyme
1 tsp sugar

Add:
1 cup milk
1 cup light cream
parsley

* remove bay leaves and add parsley before serving
* garnish with green onion tops
