Clouds rolled in , Piccolo Grande rolled out. Due to humid weather conditions outside the quadrangular ice surface at the Ultra-Modern Slovak Centre was awash in fog inside. This obviously seemed to "mist-tify" Piccolo as Heavy Metal was first to the puck all night creating many scoring chances and making them count 7 times. Ouch ! On a positive note the Piccolo Double Dippers only had about 10 shots on net but were able to score twice. Once on a rocket off the stick of Mark "the Mullet" Lowe narrowing the gap to 2 to 1 in the first period leaving the well rested Heavy Metal netminder visibly frustrated. The second off a goalmouth scramble late in the second period with Steve" Skeeter " Hambling once again in his office at the lip of the crease faxing in the marker. Unfortunately for Skeeter he will not get credit for the goal as he was not listed on the game sheet. Perhaps he was out checking on his parking pass. The goal in any event was officially awarded to Greg "Popstar" Popoff.
