Lunch bag Letdown at Leitrum

Als win Grey Cup! Now for our lead story. It was a veritable smorgasbord of scoring being served from the Piccolo menu on this evening. Bellyup to the bar boys and chow down it's an all you can beat barbecue bash. The Gelatoheads put on a fine display of hustle, puck control, passing, shooting and of course scoring to pound a hapless pantload of Panthers 9 to 1.

After a few close calls in their own end with Andy "5hole" Sommerfeld minding the store the ice cream boys proceeded to order up an extra-giganta-normus double fudge, hazelnut and whipped cream scoring bonanza splat. Scoring for Piccolo was, well just about everybody. Leading the way they had Dave "Homo-path " Benson & Hedges and his hat-trick (Yes Duck-man that would be 3 goals), Mike "Young Blood" Bureau with a pair, the Pop Star, Greg Popoff adding 2 with singles coming from Professor Steve "Duckman" Allard the Mallard and Commandant Joe "Big-D" German.

The Panthers broke 5hole's bid for a shutout on a power play blast from the left face off circle with about 5 minutes left in an already decided match. Not to worry this cake was already iced as the Gelatoheads received their just desserts.
