Round 6 - Tuesday, June 6 Champlain
The skies were cloudy, threatening to rain but we went out anyway and we werenít disappointed! I took my night manager, Dave T.P. out this week and we were joined by an old friend Phil Gaulin. Dave was pulling and old set that I think he found at a garage sale and after a few swings knew he was going to have a great time! Phil was our comic relief for the day as he swore his way through the round. Phil's been dissecting his swing for the past while to the point of silliness so as he would change his swing from shot to shot it made for interesting conversation.

We managed to get through the round under dark skies without a drop of rain. My game wasn't too bad. My drives were consistently straight and averaged about 230. I took a 48 on the front with a triple on the first and the eighth, and a 47 on the back with triples on the fourteenth and seventieth. I had three pars, 3 greens in reg., 5 fairways in reg., and took 37 putts. My cohorts Phil and Dave scored 91 and 121 respectively. Phil had 45 putts and Dave 40. Man, if Phil would forget about worrying about his swing and practice putting the ball in the hole he'd be in the low eighties! See ya next week!
