Welcome to our golf page. Here you can follow the exploits of Piccolo as he slices his way through another golf season. Piccolo has been golfing off and on
since he was sixteen but for the last five years has been afflicted with the sickness know as "Duffittis". People with Duffittis are prone to also be
plagued with "Shankitis", and most commonly "Chokeitis". Through many hours of practice and lessons, and good medication, it's possible to cure these
diseases. Piccolo is well on his way to curing these sicknesses. Piccolo finished the 2001 season as a 12 handicap and set 10 as his goal for 2002.
Alas, he finished last season stuck at 12. He figures that in another twenty years he can get it down to -2 or -3 and be ready for the senior tour 2023!
As the season goes on we will try update the golf page with photos and highlights from Piccolo's weekly rounds. If you’d like to play a round with Piccolo
please e mail him at gelato@piccologrande.com
The most important thing about this page is the Fifth Annual Piccolo Grande 'round the World Challenge Golf Tournament. Wednesday July 14th, 2004 at the Champlain Golf course. All the net proceeds go to the Mike Nemesvary 'round the World Challenge. Mike Nemesvary is a good friend of Piccolo's and is a quadriplegic. He was a great freestyle skier and skied on the Canadian National Freestyle Ski team with Piccolo in 1980. Mike went on to compete for Great Britain on the World Cup Circuit and won three World Cup events before a tragic trampoline accident ended his skiing career over 18 years ago.
